Transport Efficiency Tools develops tools and modules supporting transporters of goods and people in improving efficiency, profitability and sustainability. We are today around 100 employees and consultants and we are a part of the Connected Services and Solutions organisation, which constitutes its own business area within Scania.
To further continue the development of Scania’s connected services offering, the group Equipment Services has recently been established. The group will focus on connecting assets and equipment such as trailers, cranes and Scania Engines to our current offering. We will also continue to develop our external API’s and integrations offering.
We are therefore looking to strengthen the team with a System Developer with focus on API’s and system integrations.
Job description
You will be a member of a dev-ops inspired team. The team takes responsibility for the full delivery in terms of quality, availability and customer need alignment. Together, the team therefore has a wide range of skillsets ranging from UX, architecture, programming, testing, building and deploying.
The team makes comprehensive choices on technology in order to ensure long term efficiency in development and operation.
Team members challenge each other continuously and contributes to developing the way we work.
You will from time to time also communicate with sales and customer representatives to assist in pre-sales, sales and implementation.
Your profile
You probably have a relevant academic background or equivalent experience. You have probably been working a few years within the area and are already, or looking to become, a “T-shaped” developer.
You are a natural team player, put the customer first and communicate with ease.
You are familiar with the technology development and trends within the area of system integrations and you possibly also have experience from the transport and logistics IT-arena.
Relevant experience/knowledge: C#, .Net, message buses, SOA, API Gateway Mgmt., REST, WebAPI, SQLServer/NoSQL, VisualStudio.
Fluency in English is a requirement. Other languages are meriting.
