Network Control provides leading network management and control systems for planned and unplanned outage management, generation, transmission and distribution management systems. It also includes SCADA and process control solutions for planning, forecasting and running day-to-day operations. Offerings comprise a broad range of solutions to address the most critical needs of utility and power companies.
We are looking for a system engineer with a cyber security profile that can manage installation and integration activities related to security solutions in our project deliveries. The work will consist of delivering professional services in our projects as well as improving our configuration methods- and system solutions. Main part of the work will be performed at our office and in our test area, but you will also participate in the commissioning at our customer sites. You will be part of a skilled and engaged team where you will have responsibility for the security applications- and solutions.
Your responsibilities
Infrastructure security implementation, including platform (Linux, Windows, SQL databases, web servers, network devices) hardening according to industry recognized benchmarks as CIS; Endpoint protection e.g., antimalware, application control (whitelisting), change control; Backup and Restore; SIEM and NMS
Setup security environments including Active Directory, LDAP, PKI, Kerberos configuration, group policies and DNS
Perform cyber security audits on production customer systems by using questionaries, analyzes and scanners
Create clear detailed documentation of the security configuration including system diagrams, configuration descriptions, user policies and recommendations
Participate in testing activities in close collaboration with our customers
Conduct customer trainings
Your background
Demonstrated interest in the cyber security area
A creative mindset, combined with ability to seek information, knowledge of how to solve technical problems and strive for automation
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer engineering, or telecommunications
Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver results per plan
We see that you have experience in some of the below topics;
You have implemented different types of Backup (Acronis, Veaam, Micro Focus), SIEM (Splunk, AlienVault) and NMS (Solarwinds, Zabbix, WhatsUpGold, Nagios)
Strong system administration skills in Linux (RHEL) and Microsoft Windows servers both in physical environments and virtual environments (VMware vShpere/vCloud and HyperV)
Good understanding and experience in computer networks
Programming experience of some scripting and automation languages, e.g., Ansible, PowerShell, Linux Shell (bash, ksh), Perl, Python
Valued certificates are CCNA/CCNP, RHCSA/RHCE, CEH
