About this opportunity
We are looking for a System Manager (SM) for packet core development with focus on 3GPP mobility control plane functionality. You will be part of the System Manager community and connected development teams, where you jointly plan the work and share tasks and knowledge.


You will also be working in close collaboration with System Architects and Product Owners, managing requirements and influence future evolvement in the area. Some of the challenges are maintaining focus on priorities, communicate, inspire and be active in studies needed to drive the area towards the product vision. During large complex system development, it´s important that some persons keep a complete view of the system developed. As system managers, we drive and support several important activities prior/during and after feature development.




What you will do
Perform system studies and manage compliance with standards for our 5G cloud native products to align with customer needs.
Manage strategic technical leadership within the area by contributions to the product evolvement plan and roadmap.
Build and manage requirements and take ownership for selected system artifacts. Eg. Ensure that the system requirements exist and are accurate.
Support Q&A activities and pre-sales support within the competence area.
Work close with other system managers and be a member and contributor in the system management community cross the PDU.
Manage continuous quality improvements of products and processes.
Support development teams with backlog refinement, feature studies and splitting large packages into workable items.
Work closely with Product Owners and other related partners, be involved in early technical discussions, and provide recommendations to standardization work.





You will bring
Bachelor or master’s degree or higher education in a technical field related to Computer Science
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in telecommunications area.
Familiarity with tools such as GIT & Gerrit.
Familiarity with agile development of large embedded systems.
Innovation attitude paired with the ability to adapt and respond to change.
Interest and pride in understanding the whole product and its environment and passion for learning and sharing information with team members.
Passion and love to continue developing your knowledge working at the forefront with new technologies.
Good communication skills, paired with fluency in spoken and written English.
A positive “can-do” attitude.
