System Owner and Scrum Master for Autonomous Control Unit

System Owner and Scrum Master for Autonomous Control Unit

Arbetsbeskrivning

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

At Autonomus Systems  we are developing Scania’s Autonomous Transport Solution. The SesammStreet team develops the gateway and safety monitor between the vehicle and the robot, the two redundant ECUs named Autonomous Control Unit (ACU). It’s an Agile team that collaborate in a scaled Agile framework.

The main challenge is to build a redundant system that makes sure that nothing dangerous happens in any situation. Moreover, the ACU provides an adaptation to the set of autonomous variants in our vehicles, so the three different robots we are working on has a simple interface to all vehicles. The ECU also handles power up/down of the robot, emergency cut off from Autonomous mode, and more. To succeed in this we embrace diversity and equal opportunity in a serious way. Our group are committed to build a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. The more inclusive we are, the better our work will be.

Your responsibilities

As a System Owner you need to understand the big picture of our system in the Autonomous Transport System. You will in many situations be in a leading position and coordinate other teams, such as

• release of new ACU versions
• troubleshooting
• passing tollgate for autonomous public road driving

As system owner you are responsible for the releases of the ACU, including

• Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA)
• parameter settings in PSM
• report of verification result

As a Scrum master you will lead the scrum team to improve its effectiveness. The team is part of a large scaled agile framework. Therefore the role is especially central during Program Increment-planning, big room planning every 10 week.

Your profile

You have

• experience in coordinating people and teams
• experience as Scrum Master in an Agile team
• a bachelor in computer science
• experience writing FMEA and requirements

It is an advantage with experience as System Owner for a Scania ECU.

We offer

Great collaboration in an Agile team, an organization that continuously improve our processes and methods, a big challenge in building a failsafe system, and a really cool application in Scania’s Autonomous Transport Solution.
