Volvo CE in Braås, located close to Växjö, develop autonomous and articulated haulers and wheel loaders. The Team
Product Platform for the Autonomous & Articulated Hauler is part of the Volvo CE Technology organization, with five main departments:
Product Maintenance
Engineering
Medium platform
Large & Heavy platform
Autonomous platform

The System Owners are part of the platform departments that are accountable for QDCF of the machines and that the products are configured in an optimized way to meet customer needs and business expectations as well as internal product targets. The Platforms are involved in the complete product life cycle from advanced engineering to aftermarket support.


The Role
The System Owner leads a system team that own and strive for continuous knowledge build and to innovate the system of interest, secure alignment with long term product targets, strategy and product plans for complete Articulated Hauler and Autonomous product range. ​Monitoring Q(D)CF evolution, secure technology readiness and knowledge build to enable efficient project execution.

Knowledge & experience
To be successful in your new role we believe you have the following knowledge/experience:
M.Sc./B.Sc. degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent
Leader skills and experience from similar positions
Experience from Mechanical engineering and heavy-duty vehicle design in the primary context of Enclosure, Human Guard & Light systems
Good knowledge and the curiosity to drive and follow the development in the plastic, sheet metal and light areas
Interest in learning/understanding new technologies in adjacent domains such as sensor installation/encapsulation and ADAS
A customer focus and genuine interest in technical solutions
Strong communication skills in English, spoken and written

Experience/knowledge in the following areas will be beneficial and are meritorious:


Off-road machinery/Heavy trucks/Automotive, Sensors and driver assisting solutions, CAD-skills, Systems Engineering, Model based Systems Engineering, Product and system architecture
