We are today a group that consists of testers, function owners and system owners that are currently in need of an driven, structured, technical and communicative system owner to be responsible for our autonomous steering actuator! Here you will have the perfect opportunity to work with both hardware and software and how they work together to bring value to our customers.
Your tasks
You will be responsible for the development of the system to meet Scanias future demands, while securing the short and long term plan connected to the needed deliveries for our autonomous steering actuator. The system you are responsible of is enabling an autonomous computer to steer the wheels of the vehicle so that the vehicle will be able to follow a certain route without the input of a traditional driver. You are expected together with colleagues in the system to understand the needs and requirements on the steering actuator from different autonomous initiatives, plan and implement the needed functions together with the supplier, test the implemented SW and release it to the initiative at the right time. Focus will be to have an autonomous steering actuator that can help us take the step to fully driverless operation.
You will, through your role, build up a broad network within Scania from R&D and Purchasing to Production and Aftermarket. A close collaboration with our suppliers and friends within the TRATON group will give you exciting international contacts. This role as system owner is very varying, important and stimulating job that gives great opportunities to your future career within the whole TRATON Group.
Your profile

You have a master or bachelor of science in areas like electronics/data/mechatronics/mechanics and have 2 to 5 years of experience in developing embedded systems. You have at least 2 years of experience in leading a product area and/or leading people. You can communicate well in English and Swedish. Good communication skills in German is also meritorious.
