System Product Developers for 5G NR

For our client in Gothenburg, we are looking for telecom system developers for 5G NR development.


Full-time consultancy positions, 100% remote within Sweden.
Our Client is looking for developers to strengthen their 5G NR development in the Traffic Control (TC) area.
Developers are requested for the 5G Sub6 Program which drives, specifies and systemize advanced 5G NR L3 Traffic Control.
The work is the core of the development activity in creating TC SW functionality for the their 5G radio base stations.
We are looking for
Technical specialists/senior developers with System craftmanship competence.
Developers with System craftmanship competence.
Competence requirements TC -”MP software” / Cloud development
Specifically, the team members need to be able to take on roles as system developers and senior system developers capable of 5G feature development, this to accelerate the feature progress in the area of 5G NR to regain technology leadership.
The team member must have strong background in telecom system product development.
The systemization tasks also require good 3GPP radio access standardization knowledge.

Development activities TC -”MP software” / Cloud development
The main activities will be to develop TC functionality and algorithms for the 5G NR products: performing feature conceptual studies incl. architectural and detailed systemization, and supporting feature identification studies. The consultants will support several study teams and also give support to module programs including TR handling.

The work will mainly be conducted within the 5G Sub6 program, in areas such as:
Mobility
Cell mobility
Beam mobility
Load Management
HO / HO optimization
UE handling
Connection set-up
Connection handling
Dual connectivity
Carrier Aggregation
Idle mode / Dormant state
Paging
ANR
SON (Machine learning)
Low OPEX
Positioning
Observability
