Packet Core in Business Area Digital Services (BDGS) develops and delivers solutions for mobile networks. We enable millions of simultaneous connected mobile users while handling traffic from IoT to 4K video in Gbit speeds. BDGS will become the partner of choice of Telecom operators using the latest technologies in cloud and automation to manage complexity.
We stand at the forefront of Agile software development, using methods and principles from Lean and Agile methodologies to create the best product in the world. Early interaction with customers and internal business related roles is a key element in our development process. Through a prioritized backlog, we rely on team responsibility to complete analysis and design. Empowerment and innovation are key ingredients.
We are currently looking for:
A System Program Manager, for handling the system design activities (e.g. system studies and requirements) needed to develop our 5G products. Our new product portfolio is based on cloud native principles, we aim to create a common architecture for all Packet Core Network functions optimized to execute in cloud environments. Technology utilized include container technology like Docker and Kubernetes, microservices architecture and databases like Redis.

The system program manager role is a key role within our organization, focusing on technology leadership as well as business needs in a balanced view.
You will:
secure short and long term plans based on agreed capability for system design activities/artifacts
be accountable for visualizing plans and progress and promptly highlight deviations and risks through involvement in ongoing system design and development activities
facilitate technical meetings and good collaboration across Business, Technology and Operation dimensions between Product Owners, System Architects and general System Level analysts and designers
be responsible for defining and implementing improvements of System Management / Requirement way of working and applicable flows.
