Northvolt Systems has an exciting job possibility for a System Requirements Manager, that will be specializing in the field of Energy Storage Systems and Machinery.
You will be contributing in your area from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery module factories, which will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society. You will be part of a team which manages requirements from customers in various industries and country to realize the industry leading battery system solution.
In general, you have a long experience from requirements management/engineering. You have been an integral part of large, innovative, and challenging product development projects with very high demand on accuracy and scale.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Be a part of building up the process and system requirements function at Northvolt Systems across several projects, for how we work with external customers, internal stakeholders and system design engineers.
Guiding the System Requirements Engineers, providing guidance to other engineering functions on the derivation, break down and compliance of systems requirements in Polarion.
Guiding the Test Engineers on the derivation of test cases, linking to requirements and test results reporting in Polarion.
Participate in setting global standards and the associated processes and strategies which disseminate and enforce these standards.
Participate in education and knowledge transfer workshops

Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
Degree in Mechatronics / Electronic/Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computing, Software Engineering or similar
More than 4 years of experience in design and development of products
Proven experience of work on safety critical embedded / mechatronic systems
Experience of working across the full engineering lifecycle
Self-motivated with a strong aptitude for problem-solving and decision-making within projects involving design complexity and uncertainty
Experience of Functional Safety standards (IEC 61508, ISO 26262, EN 50218, IEC 62061) is an advantage
Experience in using Polarion, DOORS or similar requirements management tool
Passionate by solving complex problems with technology in a simple yet innovative way
Multi-cultural work environment experience
Specific Skills/Abilities
Excellent English written and oral communication skills, with experience of delivery to a variety of internal and external stakeholders of varying seniorities.
Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time management
Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently
Ability to work in a high profile and often high-pressured international environment
