System Safety Architect

The Intelligent Platform Department at CEVT is responsible for the development and verification of on-board electrical and off-board cloud architecture, enabling feature development for fleet customers, vehicle users and service users. Secure Platform within Intelligent Platform is a Center of Expertise and Excellence in System Safety and Product Cybersecurity within CEVT and Geely Group. Our goal is to contribute to the development and deliveries of best-in-class safe and secure products and services to our customers.

What are the possibilities for you as System Safety Architect?

We do believe that you have a holistic view of the system safety area and an in-depth understanding of the relevant challenges, opportunities and activities related to electrical architecture and software platform for future mobility solutions. At the same time, we help you in understanding our needs so that you see the potential of making a difference. You will

- Act as subject-matter expert in Functional Safety regarding strategies, technology roadmap and concept studies for future electrical architecture and software platform
- Be responsible to establish and promote holistic view of System and Functional Safety as well as identify safety requirements and solutions based on business needs and customer use cases
- Review technical concepts and solutions as well as be active in resolving safety issues
- Review Functional Safety work products in vehicle projects, participate in system safety joint reviews with suppliers and support in finalizing vehicle safety case
- Support product & project management in taking Functional Safety relevant decisions
- Secure alignment with relevant stakeholders within CEVT and Geely to make sure that a reasonable level of safety activities has been performed. Contribute to cross-functional alignment regarding technical solutions from safety perspective
- Perform activities to increase awareness and knowledge of the area in the organization


Is it You?

We understand that you are highly attractive to many prospective employers because of your passion for technologies, well-recognized experience of working with automotive electrical architecture and software platform, technical skills in system and functional safety and above all, personality. In addition, you are someone who loves challenges in finding efficient solutions and have

- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical, Computer Engineering, IT or equivalent area or equivalent experience
- Experience of working with several aspects of functional safety such as concept phase, management and planning of safety activities, supplier management and product development at system/software/hardware level
- In-depth knowledge about automotive EE (Electrical and/or Electronics) Systems along with experience of working with electrical architecture and software platform from the automotive industry
- Very good knowledge about state-of-the-art dependability and safety concepts, mechanisms and solutions
- Experience of working with functional safety standard, for example, ISO 26262
