System Safety Engineer | 100% Remote

We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a System Safety Engineer with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.




Key Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include:
Contribute to the development of Functional and Technical Safety Concepts for systems with safety objectives or ASIL requirements.
Take part in evaluations of proposed technical solutions (in predetermined architecture) to determine the viability of developing a SW solution.
Writing and reviewing safety requirements for ART LVC or our suppliers' software.
Depending on the scope of each specific vehicle project, planning and scoring of safety test activities (Safety plan).
Collecting work products (such as test results) and creating Safety Cases.
Ensure that safety functions do not obstruct the customer experience.





Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
Competency prerequisites for the applicant:
We are looking for someone who is open-minded and curious, as well as someone who can work well with others. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and not afraid to try new approaches to problems.
You are a technical team player who enjoys working with people from different cultures. Aside from being customer-focused, you have strong analytical skills and are structured and organised in your daily work.
You bring experience in software and system development, as well as a holistic perspective and excellent systems thinking.
You have 3-5 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree in engineering.
Master of Science in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Applied Physics, or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience in software or system development
Being positive and open-minded
Being innovative
Having a high level of communication and teamwork ability
Being analytical and structured





Other:
Qualifications preferred
Understanding of system safety and monitoring methods
Understanding of ISO26262
FMEA experience in SW-development

Language Requirements: Mastery of English language in both speech and writing is required. It is advantageous if you have good oral and written skills is Swedish.
