CEVT is an innovation centre for the future cars of the Geely Group with the purpose of being at the forefront of new developments in the automotive industry. Since 2013 CEVT has grown rapidly and now keeps some 2000 people busy. China Euro Vehicle Technology AB is a subsidiary of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group.
Powertrain Engineering at CEVT is responsible for development of new global electrified powertrains from the early concept phase to industrialization. Our organization plays an important role since these systems will continue to be the main technologies for the Geely group going forward. CEVT is an important innovation center in the Geely Group, which brings a great opportunity to contribute to innovating new technology for future powertrains to be used across brands in the Geely Group.
In this role as System Safety Manager you will act as Functional Safety Manager for CEVT Powertrain design projects and processes. This includes e.g. to Analyse impact of ISO26262 releases for Powertrain and create Functional Safety awareness across the department. Develop safety architectures and safety plans to ensure compliance with ISO26262.
You will lead and coordinate FSC, TSC SaCa, FSM reviews of functional safety documentation according ISO26262, assist and guide the safety engineering teams.
The role will involve a lot of collaboration with project managers, and all project stakeholders on Functional Safety area.

In terms of the profile and background required for the position, we would highlight the following:
You need to have detailed knowledge of and proven experience with Safety according ISO 26262, and knowledge of Functional Safety Theory, with specific on-the-job experience.
Furthermore you have a good automotive system functionality understanding, and experience from System Requirements management.
As a person you have the ability to communicate clearly, handle risk management, weighting reasonable development effort against added value and safety against availability.
