System Software Developer C

You will be closely working with the development team in Gothenburg with customers. Primary responsibility is to Analyze, design and develop IT system software / products based on customer needs. Design and develop solutions for System Software in OpenVMS environment. Our products are inhouse developed System Software used for development and operation of customers applications.


Some products are working closely with the OpenVms operating system facilities such as multi-threading, shared memory, locking, and asynchronous program flow. Other products use standard C-runtime routines. They are currently running on OpenVMS, but it might in the future be interesting to port them to other platforms like Linux and Windows. You will have a huge possibility to develop your programming skills as you will be part of a technically very skilled team.
Mandatory Skills
Technical qualifications
· C programming language or similar programming language (with a great interest for learning C programming)

General qualifications
· Fluency in oral and written English
· Proactive, responsible and methodical
· Business orientation and ability to establish good relationships
· Good communication, team spirit
· Ability to work in a structured way with objectives given by a remote team leader
· Capture the customer's needs to solve a specific development problem
The candidate selected for this role has/is
· Genuine interest in programming and technical program design
· Ability to create program data structures
