Description
As a System Specialist you will be responsible for maintaining the performance of Tetra Pak systems at our customers' plants. You will act as ambassador for Tetra Pak and help maintain the company's reputation for commitment and service worldwide.
You will work in the Field Operations team, Technical Service. The position is based in Lund, but this position includes frequent travelling to visit customers.
Main responsibilities
Our Customers are located all over the world and the tasks at customers' premises as well as at your home base will be:
-Perform assignments such as rebuilding and troubleshooting, delivering Expert Services and knowledge transfer to local Tetra Pak colleagues and customer staff
-Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis with aid of prevailing problem solving methodologies
-Participate in new development projects to gain knowledge in new design & functionality and later take an active role when the equipment is deployed to our final customers
-Take an active role in developing and implementing improvements
-Document and write Technical Assistance Report for all activities performed
-Solve issues and make suggestions to improve performance on our packaging lines
-Build and maintain technical network on global level
Qualifications
We believe that you are a self-motivated person with a high degree of initiative. You will work autonomously having the ability to make your own decisions and to solve problems under time and customer pressure. You will be travelling extensively, approximately 150 days/year. Therefore it is important that you enjoy contact with different cultures worldwide.
You have a technical high school education or equivalent (university degree will be considered as a plus), covering both the electrical and the mechanical area with very good skills in automation. Added to this we appreciate if you have a genuine technical interest. A good command of both written and verbal English is necessary and you will make use of your driver's license.
We believe that you work within Technical Service today with at least 5-7 years of experience in a similar role and that you are used to direct Customer contacts.
