Alfa Laval is currently on a digital transformation journey in many areas. The Operations Development team helps Operations make sustainable improvements in its performance and achieve its most important goals. The ALPS (Alfa Laval Production System) is part of our management system. It describes how we work, how we solve problems and how we continuously improve. ALPS is built upon Lean and Six Sigma philosophies and contains values (how we behave), principles (how we make decisions), methods and tools.

About the job  

As a System Support Specialist, you will ensure the service level and performance of the global application ALPS Digital Status Board (DSB). The DSB application is an important part of the ALPS toolbox, as it is used to support daily performance meetings in our factories. You will be part of a team that works with development and support of global solutions within automation and digitalization. You will also work closely with the ALPS central team as well as with key users and super users from the factories.

More specifically your key tasks will be to: 
* Take care of daily support of the DSB application globally, as well as introduction of new features and releases
* Support DSB users for setup and implementation of new instances
* Act as support of training and clarification on the ALPS DSB process, especially for sites without local ALPS drivers
* Be involved in DSB feature development (done by an external supplier) and new releases in order to train and coach DSB users.

To succeed in this role, you are structured and driven, with the ability to see the big picture. You are collaborative and adaptable with a positive mindset. Your communication skills are excellent. You are comfortable working in a team and finding the best solution.

What you know 

Academic background at university level and/or prior experience in System Support up to 3 years. You are familiar with Production Systems. You have good knowledge in Lean and Six Sigma and excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office and Power BI. English and Swedish are mandatory, other languages are a plus. During the introduction phase, you will get extensive training on ALPS, the DSB application and the technical environment.
