Our Exciting Opportunity
Product Development Unit Packet Core develops Mobile Core Network nodes with world class, market leading functionality, designed for efficient, reliable and secure operations. The headquarters is based at Lindholmen (Gothenburg, Sweden) but we also have development in Shanghai, Beijing and Madrid. PDU Packet Core is responsible for the development of 5G functionality PCC (Packet Core Controller) and PCG (Packet Core Gateway).
We are currently expanding our team and therefore looking for talented system test developers with different seniority wanting to join our product development. In the Packet Core organization testing is done both by the cross-functional development teams, as well as dedicated teams performing extensive regression verification and system level testing. To be able to execute testing efficiently we strive for a high degree of automation in test environment for most of the test execution and parts of the analysis of test results. The new generation of our 5G products execute in a cloud-based environment so if you do not already have knowledge about cloud and virtualization you will be able to learn!
We are looking for a skilled, self-motivated and service-minded Test Developers to join the team.
You will
join one of our teams in Lindholmen where you will design, develop, implement, execute and evaluate test cases
perform troubleshooting and problem solving of complex products
continuously seek new areas of improvements in the system test field
develop and implement test cases
participate in continuous integration activities and industrialization of the delivery processes
We are looking for someone that
puts attention to quality, customers and has a passion for finding faults
enjoys working in teams and sharing knowledge with others
has an energetic, positive “we can do it” attitude towards challenges, is curious and want to learn new skills!
To be successful in the role you must
have BSc/MSc level in Computer Science or the equivalent level of knowledge
be fluent in English, written and spoken
understand our product, it is essential to comprehend IP protocols and IP-based routing in an embedded environment, 3GPP standards, and UNIX/LINUX
have experience in script languages or Java
understand Test Methodology and Test Automation
be aware of Lean and Agile principles
Additional qualifications
As we are looking for a different seniority of candidates, below are the additional qualifications for the more senior position
troubleshooting skillset in a complex environment
deep understanding of Test Methology and Test Automation
ISTQB certification or equivalent (beneficial)
