Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Do you want to be a part of building the future service tool for Scania? We are looking for a System Test Developer who would like to join us at Vehicle Service Information using new technology to deliver solutions and services that meet new demands

We need to reinforce the testing in one of our teams. We are looking for you who is a tester with an edge, who gets excited when thinking about quality assurance, test automation, monitoring and who wants to work close to customers and to get the system as a whole to work as good as possible.

We are offering you a unique opportunity to work with the latest cloud technology mixed with some IoT and actually verifying your work on heavy vehicles. We have, among other things, a workshop with trucks at our disposal right outside our office.

You will be part of a small, cross functional team who consists of both developers and tester where the team has a clear area of responsibility. The team is also a part of a bigger group which is responsible for several areas within the service tool domain. This means that you will get the opportunity to acquire a wide domain knowledge.

Your tasks
You will together with your team be responsible for the quality assurance of the teams deliverables. You will have the opportunity to use your whole skill set as a tester, including among other things:


• developing and maintaining automated tests, simulators, riggs etc
• testing hands-on sitting in our trucks, buses or connected to industrial engines
• setting requirements for testability in our products
• coordinating the teams deliveries in our publishing pipe lines
• monitoring the health status of your services

You will also represent your team in our test guild, which is used to spread knowledge between our development teams as well as unifying our way of working.

Your profile (Who you are)


• You have a strong technical background as a test automation engineer and have a minimum of two years coding experience
• You are interested in vehicle communication like ECUs and CAN bus
• You have a degree in mechanical, computer or electrical engineering or comparable education and experience
• You have excellent communications skills and are a team player
• You are good at understanding and communicating technical solutions
• You are curious and quality minded

Technical skills/Experience

We believe you have experience in the following technologies:


• Python
• Selenium
• Docker
• GitLab CI/CD
• REST API-testing

It is also a bonus if you have knowledge in the following technologies:


• Experience in micro service architecture in AWS
• Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• C# (.NET Core)
• Javascript, Angular
• Postman
