System Test Engineer

About the position
As a System Test Engineer, you will be a part of a creative and highly skilled team of engineers specialized in testing for the automotive industry that includes software test, system integration, integration test and system test. The Tech Center in Mullsjö designs future automatic shifters and actuators including electronic control units among other new exciting electromechanical products for automotive applications.

The engineering team belonging to the Powertrain & Chassis business unit consist of roughly 65 engineers in different teams having full development and test in house at Kongsberg Automotive AB. The engineers belong to a variety of engineering disciplines such as mechanical design, hardware design, software engineering, systems engineering, and full validation of the product.

Responsibilities
You will perform various system level test activities like system integration, integration test, system qualification test and regression test.
You will work in all phases of the projects, from planning of the testing to requirements analysis, writing test cases, implementing test cases, developing automated tests as well as running the tests.
Requirements
The person we are looking for is a trained engineer with a specialization in computer science, electronics or equivalent with a passion for test. You have documented experience of test in an embedded environment and have good knowledge of test methods.
As a person, you feel comfortable taking initiative and acting with confidence. We are looking for someone who focuses on customer needs and sets high standards for quality. It is important that you have good cooperation skills and are responsive to your coworkers. The work requires that you are analytical, thorough and structured, and that you can express yourself unhindered in English, both in speech and writing.

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar.
Five or more years of experience of system level testing.
Experience in Test Management.
Experience of HIL testing.
Experience of Vector CANoe, VT System and CAPL scripting.
Experience working with functional safety, ISO 26262.
Experience working with Automotive SPICE.
Experience in Requirements Management
LabVIEW knowledge is merited.
Swedish is merited.
