Purpose of the job
For a new contract in Turkey we are developing a new variant of our Rail Control System, based on the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) standard. For the system test activities on this system we are now looking for a System Test Team Leader. The test team is expected to consist of 3-4 testers.
This is a fascinating and broad role which includes good people skills, good technical understanding, and a good understanding of the system testing process and how it evolves throughout the product life cycle.
Working with development of Rail Control Systems means being part of the global transition to greener mobility by creating a more sustainable transport infrastructure, and it also involves working in fascinating international projects. The systems we develop have very high safety requirements, so the whole development process is focused on delivering a safe and secure system.
Key responsibilities
Establish, manage, and evolve the team of system testers
Order and secure lab equipment
Follow up and drive necessary system test issues
Prepare the necessary plans and reports for the system test activities
Facilitate Development Acceptance Test activities together with customer representatives


Qualifications & Functional Knowledge
Bachelor or Master in Engineering or equivalent work experience .
Railway signalling knowledge is desirable but not required.
3-5 years of work experience as system tester.
Understanding system test techniques to specify and execute tests.
Understanding processes for developing safety critical systems, e.g. requirement handling, document handling,and working with process driven development.
English – fluent.
