System Verification Engineer

Volvo Autonomous Solutions (V.A.S.) is one of the newest and most exciting companies within the Volvo Group who develops and commercializes industrial autonomous transport solutions that significantly improve productivity, reduce emissions to almost zero and radically improve safety. V.A.S. is committed in developing the first generation of self-driving vehicles, which will redefine the commercial transport solutions that most of us rely on every day.


Global Technology Area Verification & Validation - GTA V&V is driving several major activities within Autonomous Driving development chain including Integration, Verification & Validation and Data Analytics.


Integration & Verification team within GTA V&V focusses on Integration of AD stack and verification of AD system - Cloud, Perception, Vehicle. HiL and SiL environments are utilized for V&V purposes, along with data center. You will be part of a diverse group who thrives in problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation.


We are going through a major development in order to become the world leading Autonomous Driving Verification & Validation organization. As a part of this fantastic journey, we are now in need of two Engineers, with the drive and passion to embrace this possibility with an attitude of always striving to be the best. We believe that it is not only technical ability that is important but also interpersonal and teamwork skills that are key to our success.


As a System Verification Engineer, you will play an important role in the development of our AD vehicles by verifying and validating the system. Everyday work will involve verification processes of understanding the requirements, utilizing test infrastructure and performing simulation and data analysis. You will also identify relevant scenarios to be tested, create evaluators and generate quantifiable performance metrics/KPIs.


We believe you have:
Master's degree in Physics, Mechatronics, Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent professional experience
Documented experience with closed loop simulation in the field of AD/ADAS Functional testing
Python programming experience
