System Verification Leader - Powertrain Engineering

The section Air Induction System and Powertrain Mounts is a part of the department Powertrain Installation. We perform the development in our areas from strategy to production start and are responsible for the car's characteristics when it comes to drivability, ride comfort, noise and vibrations. Our two product areas have a major impact on the car's total experience as a final product. We are merged into one section that consists of around 50 people and is divided into three groups, two technical groups and a third group Project & Maintenance. This position is within the last group, which consists of twelve people of different ages, background and experience.

As System Verification Leader you will have the coordinating role in different projects to ensure that that testing and verification in our two areas are planned, performed and documented. You will also be working with strategies when it comes to development of systems and component testing. Furthermore you will review old requirements and test methods in order to develop completely new and yet unknown ways to verify our system. As System Verification Leader there are good opportunities for further development within leading functions.

Main responsibilities

* Define and revise the test methods for the systems
* Responsible for testing of the components and the systems.
* Execute and create necessary problem points within decided systems
* Report result from completed test activities
* Approve component supplier's test descriptions and test reports
* Create and maintain necessary test plans
* Coordinate and prioritise all verification activities for the system

Required qualifications

* B.Sc in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or similar education/experience
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Driver's licence B
* Technical knowledge within the areas is meritorious
* Noise, Vibrations and Harshness knowledge is meritorious
