Your future challenge

In the role as Systems Administrator within the Linux platform, you will as a part of our team run on tasks within several systems. Therefore, it is important to have wide knowledge and be prepared for a vast array of assignments. Your team is part of a larger team of system administrators in Sweden. Moreover, you and your team will run operation, develop and upgrade our systems in order maintain the IT-infrastructure and the environments at the recommended security- and function updates. In order to maintain the team's knowledge you will be responsible for keeping updated with developments and business intelligence in your field. You and your colleagues will run in to new tasks that demand creativity, patience and some understanding for other technologies than "your own".

In this role, your main tasks will be:

* Together with your colleagues, maintain and develop the existing IT-infrastructure at Saab.
* Daily operations e.g. handle incidents and keeping the IT environment stable
* Participate in development of new IT infrastructures and services
* Central role in delivery and support of IT-services to customers
* Work with a security mindset in all that you do.

Who you are

To fit well in the position we believe that you at least have a few years' experience of working with system administration. You should also have a will to always learn and develop and you consider a job within IT to be more of a lifestyle than a job

Required skills:

* You should be comfortable working independently with the Linux platform
* At least 3-5 years' experience of work with Linux- distributions i.e. Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOS.
* Basic knowledge in networking, storage, and virtualization

Desired skills:

* Ansible
* Puppet
* Python
* Op5 Monitor
* CyberArk
* Core Privileged Access Manager (BoKS)

Moreover, you have the ability to communicate your needs, reflections and improvement suggestions to your colleagues in Swedish and English. You have a driver's license corresponding to Swedish B. Travels within Sweden is part of the job.

For this role, emphasis will be put on personal interest and suitability. A personal commitment to IT is more important than a formal education and or degree.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply
