About the company
Munters has two business areas, FoodTech and AirTech. In this role, you will be part of AirTech, which is a global leader in energy efficient air treatment for industrial and commercial applications. We offer climate solutions for business critical processes that require precise control of humidity and temperature, with energy efficiency and sustainable climate systems in focus.
The site in Kista has 180 employees and offers newly renovated premises, tailored to the company’s needs. Open office spaces and meeting rooms are combined with social areas where you can play a game of table tennis or sit and socialize on the lovely rooftop terrace. Here in Kista, you work with your colleagues in a family company culture that is often associated with smaller companies, while you work globally and are offered the opportunities of the large company!
Job description
Munters has a vision to offer connected solutions for all products globally. For this exciting venture, they are now recruiting a new team that will belong to the head office in Kista but work globally in R&D.
As System Designer, you are responsible for the design of the entire system, from control system to the cloud. For the control systems we have different connectivity technologies (via 3g, 4g, wifi, ethernet and BLE) and for the cloud platform we have chosen Azure IoT hub. It will be your responsibility to define a plan and architecture containing information flows between different control systems, modules, components, applications, and user interfaces. You are expected to develop and maintain working methods containing clear documentation and build a sustainable system architecture with APIs and protocol design. We are a small team working closely together and in this position as a System Designer, you will also be part of working with implementation.
In the role, you work closely with other colleagues at other parts of the organization. Together, you will clarify the customers’ needs and the added value that is created through the new functions and opportunities.

Furthermore, we believe you have:
- An engineering degree in software development, mechatronics, automation or similar
- At least 5 years of experience software development and architecture
- Experience in working with connectivity technologies
- Expertise in architecture and technical documentation
Since you in this position will work globally within Munters, you are required to be fluent in English in speech and writing.
