The job
Being a Systems Developer focusing on backend development and global data warehouse, you’re a vital part of our BI and Information function and hold the mission to deliver solutions and services that meets and exceeds the expectations from our business. You work according to service level agreements and collaborate with stakeholders across Sandvik to drive and coordinate resolution of complex work items, while working on enhancements of technical solutions. You also preserve our set direction with long term assignments; keeping an eye out for faster solutions and better IT environments.


In this position, you’re preferably located in Sandviken (Sweden) or Tampere (Finland).


Your character
We’re looking for someone with a relevant university degree or equivalent experience gained from a working career, preferably with a couple of years working with development within Microsoft. You’re able to manage and simplify complex issues and understand data modeling and data warehouse concepts. Knowledge in the Microsoft SQL server, as well as using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), is highly valuable, while experience of Azure, DevOps and BI solutions are beneficial. As we act in a global environment you have excellent communication skills in English.

You’re a solutions-oriented team-player, with great communication skills and a strong drive to develop both your-self and your team, and you really enjoy acting in a setting where sharing knowledge is crucial.
