Pharmetheus' main premises is in Uppsala, Sweden. Our physical footprint stretches beyond Uppsala through our office network in Stockholm, Basel, Utrecht, Paris and home office networks in Europe and North America.

We are a motivated, dedicated, and growing group of 80+ people, currently undergoing exciting developments and we are looking to expand our capacities and capabilities in our tools and process development. Consequently, we are now looking for a new Systems Developer Team Lead to join our team.

Your role:

As a Systems Developer Team Leader, you will:

* Be heading a team of developers which are developing and designing internal and external tools.
* Lead the improvement of internal processes and tools in relation to company initiatives.
* Lead the effort of company standardization of the tools' development processes and guidelines.
* Lead the company strategy regarding software development together with the head of system development.
* Interact with external vendors and/or resources related to system development projects.
* Potentially line manage the members of the system development team.

Your skills and qualifications:

To be a good match for this position, you should have a programming background/education, with at least a bachelor's degree in system development/software development/programming or equivalent. Experience in team leading of software development projects is essential and a strong merit is prior experience with personnel responsibilities.



It is a merit if you have documented experience of programming in R/Shiny since most of our tools are developed in R. Furthermore, it's a merit if you have worked with LaTeX, Git, SQL databases, HTML/JavaScript programming, software testing and documentation.

We expect that you are communicative and have a fluent oral and written English. You are flexible, committed to your work, and have a strong sense of responsibility. Further, it is important that you pick up new knowledge quickly and are used to working against a deadline. Moreover, you should be comfortable leading a team, working in close connection with your colleagues as well as independently and have good leadership skills.
