Systems Developer to Ground Support Systems in Arboga

We are looking for a curious and committed Systems Developer to join one of our teams in Arboga. We are working on systems to support air platform operations and you will join a team with great experience in software and systems engineering. Together we build and maintain systems for our customers and users around the world.

Your role
As a Systems Developer, you will be working in a team with development and maintenance of systems for planning and evaluation and tactical support for air platforms.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers and professionals in an environment that fosters career development and personal growth. You will be part of the Ground Support Systems (GSS) unit, which primarily develop systems that support pilots, maintenance personnel and operators in their daily work with air platforms, such as the Gripen aircraft. The team you will join consists mainly of Software end Systems Engineers based in Arboga.

What you will do:
- Design, develop and maintain software systems with high availability and usability.
- Work in close collaboration with other engineers in a skilled team.
- Take responsibility for the implemented software.
- Be part of development infrastructure, toolset and deployment processes.
- Continuously improve your skills in a stimulating environment.
- Based on previous experience and educational background have the opportunity to work with technical leadership.

The role might include travels between sites in Sweden and therefore it is desired that you hold a class B driver license.

Your profile
You are a driven, social and curious team player with a high interest in software engineering, who wants to keep growing your own skills, as well as being part of driving technology development.

Required skills:
- You hold a bachelor degree in Software engineering or equivalent education and experience.
- Interest in software architecture and/or system design
- You are comfortable writing in C# or Java.
- You have good communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written.

Desired skills:
- Experience or interest in Technical leadership
- Experience or interest in Agile developing methods
- Interest in Keeping up with new methods and tools within the software engineering community
- Driving license

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
