Systems Engineer

BACKGROUND We are currently working closely with our customers to ensure Sweden's armed forces are interoperable both nationally and internationally in order to meet future operational challenges.Currently involved in working these issues, we foresee further development of our services, including new business concepts; we are therefore looking for suitably qualified candidates to join our ID and Data Link team.We foresee lots of interesting communications projects in the near future and need to strengthen our competent team.The work can be either internally in R&D projects or closely together with some of our customer as a consultant.Currently involved in working these issues, we foresee further development of our services, including new business concepts.WORK DESCRIPTION Working in a challenging environment focused on secure communications solutions, you will conduct concept and feasibility studies, requirement analysis, system design, implementation, integration and test. Self motivated and a strong team player, the work will involve working in small and large multi- disciplined teams on projects of various complexities.You will also be expected to assist our marketing department in the preparation of bids and proposals.The work will require frequent travel within Sweden and occasionally abroad.QUALIFICATIONS You shall have a proven track record within the communications discipline probably gained through work within the Armed Forces or the defence industry.Knowledge of current technology for secure communications systems is considered essential.A skilled communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, you will be expected to contribute at meetings covering a wide range of technical and engineering issues recommending solutions when necessary. It is expected that you will have a wide range of contacts in your specific discipline within Sweden and/or internationally.You need to be fluent in both Swedish and English.
