Systems Engineer

Company Spirent Communications are a global provider of performance analysis and service assurance test solutions that enable the development and deployment of next-generation networking technologies, such as broadband services, Internet telephony, 3/4G wireless, web applications and security testing.The main role of the EMEA Systems Engineer is to provide pre-sales technical leadership to assist the EMEA sales team in meeting sales targets and business objectives.This role is EMEA oriented and includes significant travel in EMEA as well as several yearly meetings to the USA.The role will be based out of the Stockholm office.Duties and Responsibilities Duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: * Identify, qualify and develop customers and to close key strategic opportunities. * Working as part of a sales team to coordinate delivery of product presentations. * The provision of technical support to distributor and customer accounts. * Provide pre-sales product demonstration & post-sales customer training of Spirent's Wireless products. * Provision of technical customer feedback to both US based Product Managers and EMEA based Sales Development Managers.Skills and Experience To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and competencies required. * A complete knowledge of wireless communications concepts. * Good knowledge of GSM, GPRS, UMTS technologies as well as GPS, A-GPS and LTE. * Experience with test equipment * 3 or more years experience as a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer or Technical Support Engineer. * Fluent in English and Swedish. * Willing to travel internationally.Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Computer Science (BSCS) or appropriate equivalent / local qualification.Personal Qualities * Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a strong teamwork ethic. * Must have solid presentation skills and be comfortable conducting presentations to both individuals and groups of people. * Proven ability to build sound client relationships. * Ability to manage a heavy workload and work under pressure. * Solid problem solving skills, decision making and use of initiative. * Must be cooperative and flexible in approach. * Must have a track record of achieving results.[ To find the top applicant we cooperate with Randstad AB.We look forward to receive your application as soon as possible since we will meet candidates continuously, no later than 2010-02-19.Welcome to Randstad's website to apply for the job www.randstad.se [ [
