As a Systems engineer in our team, Systems Engineering & Verification – Underground Division, you will work with the latest technology close to our products and customers. The team consists of broad range of competences, such as, Systems engineers, Verification engineers and Test operators, who work cross-functionally together with the R&D departments, Drilling and Material Handling, as well as other Divisions. You will be located at our Underground division, close to the city center in Örebro with nature and training facilities just around the corner. The facilities are modern and we work in an ABW environment. We also have office space and a workshop in Kvarntorp, 20 km south of Örebro, where we have our test track and test mine.
Your mission
As Systems Engineer you´ll be involved in all phases of our products lifecycles. You will have an important role in pre/concept- studies, scope definition, development phase, verification & validation and product maintenance. The majority of the work will be in new development projects and product maintenance but also in customer orders and technology development.
Your main deliveries will be within the requirement management process, such as identification and definition of stakeholder needs and defining system requirements. You will also create system-, function- & design specifications. You will work closely with our Verification Engineers in the creation of test specifications and support in the verification process and data analytics. You will work cross functionally within our organization with system integration and coordinating work in between the R&D design groups and/or external stakeholders. You will also take lead in investigations of various machine function specifications and design solutions. Contribution in developing our processes and methodology is also an important part of the role.
Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.

Your profile
You have a university degree in relevant area, some years of professional experience within electrical- and/or control systems or other highly qualified engineering background. You are used to bringing ideas from an initial concept to serial production, creating technical documentation and verifying technical solutions.
You have good knowledge of mobile electrical systems, control systems and systems architectures. Knowledge of system requirement management and tools, software development, electrical systems and low voltage systems as well as experience of cad design tools and PLM systems are meritorious. Experience in graphical user interface (GUI) in close collaboration with a graphic designer and software developer is also an advantage.
To be successful in the role you are used to interacting with people and can easily motivate and take lead with a creative and analytic mindset. With only some frames set for the mission you can work in a structured way to achieve results. You must have a good analytical ability and be a good organizer. You are proactive in your way of working, but at the same time you are easy to adjust to rapid changes. Since your work includes many local and global contacts it is required that your Swedish and English skills (verbal and written) are very good.
