Systems Engineer Linux Helsingborg or Älmhult

The Datacenter & Platforms unit is currently recruiting a system engineer to be a part of a customer centric team that develop, support and runs our centrally hosted large scale Linux environments.
WHO YOU ARE
We believe that you have several years of experience managing Linux OS in both traditional as well as hyperconverged infrastructure. We believe that you have extensive knowledge in infrastructure automation and related technologies such as infrastructure as code. We believe you have a curious nature, and actively acquire new knowledge and skills, using them to champion new methods and processes to improve performance. On the same side, you are happy to share your knowledge and help everyone around you to grow as individual engineers and strong engineering teams.
The system engineer provides professional operations and engineering practices, delivers scalable infrastructure for efficient consumption in a hybrid environment, combining systems knowledge, operations competence, and programming/scripting skills to automate and simplify our current IT landscape and the future growth of digital IKEA.
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role you should have proven advanced training in information technology, computer science or equivalent experience. You have also experience of working with internal and external clients/customers. You have experience in designing and implementing resilient, highly available and automated IT infrastructure platforms.
We believe that you have knowledge in the following areas:
· RedHat Enterprise Linux
· Proven knowledge and experience from Ansible/Ansible Tower
· RedHat Satellite/Insight
· Python, Bash and PowerShell scripting experience
· Experience working with a remote and globally distributed team.
· Good knowledge of working in product-oriented development teams together with agile practices.
· Other Linux distribution knowledge on top of Red Hat Linux is a merit.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
· Be the technical resource in your area of responsibility and support current and future business within Digital IKEA.
· Deliver infrastructure through automation and with self-service capabilities for efficiency, availability, and usability.
· Do continuous improvements and innovation within this area.
· Develop and secure our test and production environments.
· Participate in the implementation of new technologies and infrastructure projects.
· Develop and maintain the right toolsets required for running services.
· Apply and adhere to the digital engineering best practices with an agile development approach.
