Systems Engineer - MES System Expert

Sandvik Materials Technology (SMT) is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a world leading manufacturer of high-value-added products in stainless steel materials, special alloys, metallic and ceramic resistance materials and process systems.The product areas comprise Tube, Strip, Wire and Heating Technology, Process Systems and MedTech.SMT CIO Office has a global responsibility for IT within SMT, and is currently looking for an MES System Expert to work with the advancement and implementation of the SMT MES system.The MES system expert will join our team working with the SMT MES concept.Key performance areas As MES System Expert your main tasks will be to: - Act as MES system expert - Support the PU MES Product Owners - Participate in the roll out of MES projects - Work in close cooperation with the MES scrum team at SITS in order to define existing or new functionalities - Lead and/or support training at the PU/PA - Participate in and/or coordinate tests within roll-out projects or MES product development Your profile To be successful in this position you should have a university degree with a major in IT and/or manufacturing or a related field, or strong working experience in the area. You are service-minded, with great customer focus.You are also analytical and highly skilled within the manufacturing area.Knowledge about the ISA-95 standard and scrum methodology is an advantage.You have excellent communication skills and you are fluent in Swedish and English, both written and verbal.This full time position is based in Sandviken, Sweden, but you must be prepared to travel to all geographical regions.
