Assignment Description:
We are looking for a systems engineer with experience in OpenShift to be involved in operational areas such as configuration, standardization and optimization of the platform, as well as support needs from application development. The assignment also includes participating and supporting in the introduction of Middleware and applications in the OpenShift platform.
What you'll do:
● Leading the customer effort to migrate our applications to an OpenShift containerized platform.
● Analysis of current state environments followed by developing detailed technical plans for the migration of current on-prem business applications.
● Execute the migration to the containerized cloud environment after technical plans are reviewed and approved.
● Provide a significant positive impact to the mission of migrating mission critical business applications from on prem computing centres to the cloud.
● Developing and testing automation software to deploy the container platform.
Who you are:
● Experience of working with system administration of OpenShift in at least 3 major IT organizations and / or authorities.
● Expertise in introducing service management through Service mesh (istio) and network design according to OVN (Open Virtual Network) in OpenShift.
● Prior experience in introducing the RH SSO (keykloack) software in OpenShift.
● Ability in realizing solutions for monitoring and monitoring applications in OpenShift.
● Technical experience with principles and implementation of GITOPS.
● Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills of Swedish and English language.
