This Opportunity
Delphi’s Electronics and Safety development in Gothenburg (former Mecel) specialize in software and systems development and function ownership within the Active Safety domain. The need for Active Safety products is rapidly growing and in order to manage projects and deliver products to all European OEMs, Delphi is now hiring over 10 experts in this specific area.

As a Systems Engineer Radar you will be working with global product development of driver assistance systems in the field of Safety Electronics. In order to be successful in this role you may come from a theoretical background (e.g., PHD degree) or being a seasoned professional with experience from the automotive or telecom industry.

Your task
• Perform product development tasks which requires a broad technical knowledge
• Involved in all systems engineering activities for the Delphi product development process, such as systems requirements, architecture, and design
• Work with requirement analysis of customer specifications and develop best practices within the project
• Develop product definition documentation and internal documentation
• Manage test and calibration activities for both system and vehicle
• Function as a technical interface to customers as well as internal departments
• Be technically sound in terms of radar technology
• Modify radar and antenna applications
• Lead and conduct internal meetings within the radar technolgy area

Your skills
• Masters of Science E/D/IT/Z or similar education level
• 5-10 years of experience of the Automotive and/or Telecom Industry
• Systems engineering experience
• Experience working with multiplex/distributed systems
• Documented knowledge of Automotive SPICE
• Proven experience in the field of radar technology or driver assistance systems
• Proficient with programming (at least one language, preferably more)
• Experience working with vehicle bus systems (FlexRay and CAN bus) and corresponding development tools
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR and unified diagnostic services is highly desired
• Experience of MATLAB/Simulink or LabVIEW and DOORS is a huge plus
• Ability to work with multi-site projects
• Must be fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Decent verbal and written skills in Swedish desired but not required
