Data Enablement technology is a new area within Ingka Digital and we are currently looking for a Systems Engineer to deliver high quality digital services within our data landscape together with other team members of highly skilled data lovers.
The team is a core part of the digital foundation at IKEA and the services are crucial to run our business - in order to sell and deliver out fantastic furniture and home accessories to customers across the globe.
REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for a curious engineer who is excited about data, technology and innovative ways of working and has a keen interest in solving business problems with technology to shape the future of IKEA!
We believe you have worked several years within the data area and that you are passionate about democratizing and leveraging the power of data.
We would love if you have good knowledge of working within an agile organization and team.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be working physically and/or virtually in a fully empowered and agile team. Together you are creating and delivering the best possible services to our users based on the latest technologies and knowledge.
Things that you will do
Be the technical resource in your area of responsibility and support current and future business within Digital IKEA.
Democratize data through automation and with self-service capabilities for efficiency, availability, and usability.
Do continuous improvements and innovation within this area and keep up with the latest technologies and ways of working.
Apply and adhere to the digital engineering best practices with an agile development approach.

TOGETHER AS A TEAM
We are a small team and we are quite autonomous, self-organizing and self-sufficient in many ways, which means part of our daily work is to define how we get things done together. We are based in Helsingborg but a mix of local and remote work is not a problem.
We are passionate about collaboration and the IKEA value of togetherness where we all work together to set the direction of the team and to deliver the best possible outcome. Anyone on our team can come with ideas on things to work on and we believe in the test and learn approach.
We value to simplify life as data citizen at Ingka and want to enable the democratization of data, we do this by providing capabilities to combine all data across the Ingka ecosystem and beyond and to work with data at scale.
We value development speed and data driven feedback a lot, we are responsible for the things we build throughout the whole life-cycle, which means operations is an important part of our work.
