Systems Engineer (Windows)

The Datacenter & Platforms unit is recruiting System Engineers to be a part of a team that manages, develops, and operates Windows infrastructure services in our central environments.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
The System Engineer provides professional operations and engineering practices, and delivers scalable infrastructure for efficient consumption in a hybrid environment, combining systems knowledge, monitoring expertise, and operations competence with programming/scripting skills to automate and simplify our current IT landscape and the future growth of digital IKEA.
You will be the technical resource in your area of responsibility and support current and future business within Digital IKEA and deliver infrastructure through automation and with self-service capabilities for efficiency, availability, and usability. With an agile development approach, you will continuously improve and innovate digital engineering best practices together with the team.
We will trust you to develop and secure our test and production environments and you will also participate in the implementation of new technologies and infrastructure projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
Training in information technology
Extensive knowledge in designing, maintaining, and supporting Windows infrastructure and server concepts
Proven knowledge of DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS in a Windows landscape
Extensive knowledge of Active Directory/Azure AD, PKI, and Group Policies
Expert knowledge in configuration management, provisioning, automation, infra as code and/or other DevOps concepts and tools
Extensive knowledge in PowerShell scripting, source code, and version control tools
Experience working in product-oriented development teams together with agile practices as well as working independently when needed.

We believe you have experience working in an ever-changing large-scale IT landscape with delivery models such as IaaS and PaaS. We also believe that you have experience working with agile frameworks and methodologies.
As part of our automation change journey, we see technologies such as hybrid cloud automation and terraforming and Programming/developer knowledge will be more and more important for us to explore so experience within these areas is considered a merit.
