As a Systems Engineer you will be a part of a NIRA Customer Adaptation team where the focus is to adapt and integrate NIRAS products into vehicles. Customers include some of the world’s leading car manufacturers, such as Audi, Volkswagen, Geely, Seat, Skoda, Volvo and Renault. With over 100 co-workers, global presence and software running in over 70 million vehicles, NIRA Dynamics is a worldwide industry leader in their segment.
Your team
You will join a team of highly motivated, dedicated, easy-going and skilled members. The team is responsible for customer adaptation projects in China where we work together with our satellite offices. We strive to build long and strong relations with our customers and partners world-wide in order to give them world-class support during the projects and throughout the product’s life-cycle. Your team in Linköping consists of about 10 team members with different competences, such as Technical Leads, Project leaders, Application engineers, Integration engineers and Test technicians and you are all supported but the rest of the organization.
This is what you will do
Together with the rest of the team, you will identify and solve technical challenges. Your main focuses will be to perform parameter optimization which will determine the end performance in customer vehicles. You are also expected to contribute to the whole team’s wellbeing and performance.
Your responsibilities include:
• Performance tuning of the products
• Requirement's engineering
• Prepare analyses and reports to the customer
• Development and improvements of tools, processes and products
As you get comfortable within your role and the organization, there are several opportunities such as the role as Technical Lead, or technical ownership of tools and processes.

• have extensive experience in Matlab, maybe you are an expert already or would love to be….?
• likes Python, R, or other programming language used for scientific computations
• have knowledge and/or interest in Signal processing.
• enjoy working and develop together in a team and as a team.
• ambitions for future technical leadership
Other required qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or solid work experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Knowledge in Swedish and, if not already fine, have willingness to learn more.
It is an advantage if you also have experience or knowledge within test driven development and automotive industry.
