Your role

As our portfolio and needs develop, we must also develop our ways of working. You will be driving and coordinating continuous improvement activities as well as looking into future needs for greater leaps. You will be the key interface and interact with the entire D&E organization as well as other disciplines within Saab Kockums concerning processes, methods and tools.

The main tasks are:

* Administering and improving the product development process and ensuring that the process and activities provide efficient and practical ways of working
* Reviewing and assessing project method documentation
* Contributing to enhancing our business capabilities
* Coaching/teaching employees in how to work with current and new processes and methods
* Reporting and managing deviations within the assigned process/methods area
* Propose and implement new metrics and improvements to existing KPI

The position is based in Malmö or Karlskrona and some travels will occur between these sites and at times to other Saab sites in Sweden.

Your profile

Improvement is your middle name! We are looking for you who are curious and eager to achieve set goals. You enjoy, most importantly to take initiatives and make decisions within your mandate. To succeed in this role you need high cooperation and communication skills and a pedagogical ability.

Required skills:

* General knowledge of product lifecycle processes or previous experience associated with developing complex systems
* M.Sc. or B.Sc. and relevant work experience including experience in the area of design/product lifecycle processes, product development and validation
* Experience in educating/training/coaching stakeholders
* Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish

Desired skills:

* Knowledge, understanding of INCOSE (preferably certified) and/or ISO 15288
* Knowledge in Saab/Kockum's products and systems
* Experience within project/change management and/or organizational development
* Experience from the navy or naval products


This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
