Will you participate in the development of next & future generation of Airborne Command Control & Flight Support System for Rotary Wing Platforms?
Your role
You will be a member of the PU Air and Land Department Rotary Wing, and within that context work as a System Engineer in our customer projects System Engineering Team. You will work with a system that is operational at the customer level and has opportunities to interact and work closely with our customers, end users, collaboration with various interfaces inside and outside the business unit within the customer projects agreements.
As a member of the project system engineering team, you will address all levels ranging from Operational Concepts to definition of requirements (system of system), system design, customer meetings, work and technology management as well as being technically demanding and driving in the acquisition of subsystems.

Your profile
You enjoy execute tasks spreading over wide technical spectra, e.g. writing System Requirements on a top level, work with re-design of a subsystem due to obsolescence, take responsibility for parts of the system and drive the work needed to fulfill the contract in due time. You strive to understand the customer needs and the benefit of having a satisfied customer. Problem solving and technical challenges motivates you and you have a strong ability to plan and execute your work. You are able to prioritize your own work and the work of others. With an analytical mindset, you have a holistic perspective but also have interest of details. You do not hesitate to ask for help when needed. Good collaboration skills and a large network of contacts within the company are also important to be able to handle the job in a good way.
A key success factor will be your ability to work in team, understand the importance of a clear, good and traceable system documentation in order to create commitment and energy within the project.
Further, the successful candidate has a broad profile with at least the following attributes:
* We believe you have a Master of Science in Engineering, Technical Physics, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent.
* Previous experience of System Engineering skills and knowledge of the system engineering process and methods for Safety Critical Systems
* Experience of handling large and complex technical requirements on a system level both Software and Hardware
* Always striving for improvements
* Good knowledge of Swedish and English in writing and speaking.
* You must also be businesslike both internally and in customer contacts
* It is good if you have experience of flying systems and / or tough environments, (helicopter systems generally have very high requirements for safety, roughening, process and quality).
* Furthermore, experience of command and control systems and avionics systems from both a technical and operational perspective is a clear advantage.
* Used DOORS
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
