About the position
Perido is looking for a Systems Operations Senior Specialist to our client, one of the leading companies in trading and exchange technology in the global market. You will be working from the office based in Stockholm.
Your daily tasks
In this role, you will oversee the company’s advanced trading platform, addressing incoming issues, resolving incidents, and deploying new versions. Your responsibilities will also include conducting performance tests and executing recovery procedures for different releases. Furthermore, you will engage in a variety of exciting projects focused on enhancing existing features and developing new products.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Engaging in various projects related to current and new customers.
Acting as a specialist for operational issues, inquiries, and requirements.
Participating in all activities related to applications, including managing incoming issues, resolving incidents, handling requirements, and launching new releases.
Designing, planning, and implementing changes to existing systems, as well as developing new solutions.
Managing projects and independently executing our parts in large implementation projects.
Maintaining operational documentation necessary for second-line operations.
Planning and executing non-functional and performance testing.

Qualifications:
Knowledge of Linux/Unix
Experience in DevOps, System Administration, Network, Application Operations, or a related area
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
Excellent written and spoken English skills

Meritorious:
Familiarity with Cloud Computing, Containerization (Docker), and Container Orchestration (Kubernetes)
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python) and databases (SQL)

Contract type and hours
Full-time, consulting assignment until 2025-09-30. Start 2024-08-14.
