We are now looking for a Systems Safety Engineer that can help us take the next steps in ensuring compliance with the latest regulatory and functional requirements.

Responsibilities:
Perform systems safety analysis for our Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS)
Identify safety critical functions and components
Assist systems engineers in the design work to meet system safety requirements
Support the design team in selecting hardware
Develop safety mitigation strategies together with system engineers
Keep up to date on relevant regulations in the industry. Initiate and drive appropriate plans and actions
Perform safety risk analysis and report the results
Develop processes and best practices in the area of systems safety.
Qualifications:
University degree in aerospace engineering or other relevant engineering dicipline
Minumum 5 years of working experience in systems safety work within aerospace industry
Practical experience of working with relevant regulations within aerospace industry
Experience from working in unmanned and/or helicopter industry is meritious
Important personal characteristics: self-driven, team player, structured
Good Swedish and English language skills, both verbal and in writing
Location / General:
You will be located at our Swedish site in Linköping.
