What you will be a part of

At the Systems Engineering & Integration Team in the Department HMI, Tactical & Avionics Systems we are now recruiting to strengthen our System Engineering capability within the Information Security domain.

The task for Business unit Gripen Design is to ensure development, production, testing, delivery and operation of the complete Gripen weapon system to our customers.

The department E/F HMI, Tactical & Avionics Systems is responsible for Product Development within the areas of human machine collaboration, sensor development and fusion for decision support as well as the avionic system architecture, central service infrastructure and system integration.

Your role

As a Systems Security Engineer at the Systems Engineering & Integration Team you will be a part in leading the functional development with regards to information security within the department's wide technical domain. This includes conducting technical studies and leading development of system concept design by translating high level requirements into multi-layered design, and planning or conducting test and verification activities. The role will include working with process development and improving the way-of-working in a collaboration both within and with other departments.

Required skills or experience

* Minimum a few years of experience within the area of System Engineering
* A master's of bachelor's degree from a relevant Engineering discipline
* Knowledge or experience of Information Security concepts including cryptography
* High social skills as the position will require extensive collaboration with other teams
* Good communication skills in English, verbal and written

Desired skills or experience

* Experience with embedded operating systems
* Familiar with NIST, ISO, and SAE security best practices and standards
* Experience working with safety-critical systems

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
