Systems/Economy Designer – Mobile

Do you have a knack for Mobile Game Systems? Want to be an important part of a product with a higher purpose? Then you should join our team! We are currently growing within mobile and are therefore looking for a Systems/Economy Designer to strengthen our Mobile Game Design team. As a Systems/Economy Designer at Star Stable, you will be owning the Systems design as well as the economy and balance for our mobile products. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to have a lot of influence and freedom in helping us make fun and engaging mobile games for kids. We are very passionate about our player community and are always considering our core value that every girl is a hero into our design.

As a Systems/Economy Designer at Star Stable you will:

- Design, implement and iterate towards sustainable game systems to deliver the best experience for our players
- Throughout the whole life cycle of the product, collaborate with other designers from the mobile team as well as with other cross-functional teams in an agile environment
- Identify key drivers for player engagement, retention and monetization
- Project how changes in system variables affect the game's dynamics
- Help the team make data-informed decisions on design, tuning and in-game pricing
- Work on a brand-new title, giving you the opportunity to contribute to the product in its initial stages, being responsible for the system that will be shipped


We are looking for someone who:

- Has strong empathy and enthusiasm towards our target audience of young girls
- Have a minimum of 2 years primary experience in Game Economy Design or Game Balancing and Systems Design
- Has an interest in working on non-combat games targeted at a younger audience
- Understands Games as a service
- Is analytical and on top of trends with systems and monetization in free to play games
- Is adaptive, collaborative and comfortable working in an iterative environment


It’s a big plus if you have been working with RPG or Adventure titles before. It’s also considered a plus if you have been working with Unity and games targeted at a younger audience.
