Tactical Buyer to Procurement Desk
Group Procurement is responsible for coordinating and developing procurement of products and services within Boliden Group’s operations in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Ireland. We are now looking for a Tactical Buyer for Procurement Desk!
Responsibilities
As a Tactical Buyer you will be part of a team of 10 people. In this team your contribution to building and developing new ways of working will be very important.
Procurement Desk is responsible for the tactical buying within Boliden. This means i.a. to execute small and medium size procurement cases but also to support operations in day-to-day procurement related issues and, when needed, support Sourcing- and Category Managers for larger contracts.
You will have daily contact with suppliers and internal stakeholders in Boliden, such as operations, staff functions and procurement colleagues. The Tactical Buyer will actively contribute to the achievement of the business objectives, with focus on short- and midterm activities within the procurement function.
The position is permanent and full time employment and you will be located in Boliden. As operations are spread within Sweden, Finland, Norway and Ireland, the job will entail an amount of travel.
You will report to Head of Procurement Desk, Frida Pettersson.
Qualifications and Experience

As a team member of Procurement Desk, you are a self-going team player, easy to work with and enjoy being involved in developing working methods and are constantly looking for new effective solutions. Procurement experience is an advantage.
Procurement Desk’s common language is English, therefor we demand that you can express yourself well in speech and writing in English and either Swedish, Finnish or Norwegian. You have a high school education. Good computer-, Excel- and procurement system skills are important for this job. Category B driving license is a requirement.
