Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
The section CAD/vPDM is a cross functional Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) organisation that supports all main processes within Scania. Our platforms supports more than 10 000 users globally, in many different business areas of Scania. The responsibility and focus for the organisation is mainly to work with demand and business requirements for processes, methods and IT solutions within the CAD/vPDM area.
The key to success is that we through good contacts have gathered big understanding of all needs from the businesses and are able to refine these demands into clear requirements. It requires that we are well aware of our customers way of working in processes and methods and their need of support with IT tools.
Your role
Within the team you will take on the role as Tactical Product Owner and be part of the delivery organisation (release train) that develops the CAD/vPDM software platform. The role of the Tactical Product Owner consist of 2 main tasks:
• Lead the maintenance team for the CAD/vPDM platform. Main applications are CATIA/ENOVIA V5 and 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Act as the Product Owner for the full delivery of the CAD/vPDM platform. In SAFe, this role is most equivalent to Product Manager.
Apart from the main tasks you will:
• be responsible to prioritize and plan the work within the release train based on the sum of needs from the product owners within the area.
• have responsibility for the portfolio and prioritisation between product areas.
• have a continuous dialogue with end users, internal customers and other stakeholders and be responsible for the common backlog.
• Contribute to our agile journey by improving way's of working and methods within the release train.
Who are you
We are looking for someone that has good good knowledge in agile methods and agile coaching, but also the ability to act as the enabler of a good communication between different stakeholders both within and outside the organisation. It is meritorious if you have experience from working according to SAFe.
In order to handle the role in a good way, we think that you have at least 2-5 years experience of working with similar tasks. Furthermore, experience from general IT maintenance for large IT systems is meritorious.
Previous experience from Scania is a plus, and for this role we look for someone who is communicative, structured and have great organisational skills. You also need to be able to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
