The Supply Chain and Logistics department is responsible for global logistics and capacity planning, and our team of 14 co-workers is located in Fagersta. We are now looking for a Tactical Supply Chain Planner with focus on our distribution centers, to be part of creating and influencing our new organizational structure in a position with great possibilities for development.

Key performance areas
As Tactical Supply Chain Planner, you are involved in, and ensure the development of our warehouses,
and you have close collaboration with the distribution network to actively improve our daily operations. Performing calculations and analysis to develop and optimize our inventories and distribution center operations is an important part of your role and you act as a link with, and maintain contact between, sales and other organizations. You present and speak for our supply chain and logistics plans with the management team and other relevant stakeholders within Seco Tools. Additionally, you are also involved in other Supply Chain Planning tasks such as analyzing planning performance.

This position involves some travel.

We are looking for someone with a relevant degree, preferable within Supply Chain and Logistics, and at least three years’ experience from working with planning or logistics. Practical and theoretical experience from planning and inventory control is advantageous, as is experience from the manufacturing industry. Good knowledge of Excel is important, and knowledge of Windows and other business systems is considered a plus. As we operate in a global environment, your English skills are good, while knowledge of Swedish is advantageous.
