Talent Acquisition Specialist, Financial positions

Talent Acquisition Specialist, Financial positions

Arbetsbeskrivning

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Scania stands at a crossroads where we are taking a new turn towards new business models. Our team provides support to various areas within Scania, where you will be focusing on Talent Acquisition mainly within Finance & Business Control as well as financial positions across the company. To support and coach our managers through this journey, Talent Acquisition is transforming as well.

If you too want to be a part of this exciting journey, the time to join is now!

Your task

Being part of the Talent Acquisition department at Scania means that you will be the first contact with our future workforce. We strive to be the best global leader in sustainable transport, which is only possible with the right people. This is why we hold a business crucial role and are one of the most exciting areas to work in right now!

Scanias’ vision is to drive the shift towards sustainable transport systems and we believe that the Talent Acquisition Specialist is a true partner to the business. That does not mean that you only execute recruitment requests, although this will be your main delivery. By being close to the business and truly understanding their needs, you will be able to proactively identify their recruitment needs.

Our mission is to find the right candidates, identify potential and enable hiring great employees.

Your qualifications

To truly succeed in this role, you have strong communication skills and can easily adapt to the needs of our stakeholders. Advising and coaching will be part of your day-to-day activities, and it is therefore important that you are comfortable working with managers at different levels in the organization. You understand that feedback is important in collaborations and you feel comfortable in giving and requesting it. You are good at maintaining a good overview of your recruitment portfolio and you are excellent at showcasing the progress to your stakeholders. You foster a growth mindset, which in our perception means that you respect how things are today, but can challenge and suggest improvements so the day after can look different. Last but not least, you give it your all to always deliver a top-notch candidate and stakeholder experience.

In terms of hard criteria, you have extensive working experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or Recruiter and you probably hold a university degree, preferably within behavioral science or similar. If you have experience from working with financial recruitments and already have a network - this is super meritorious! Good communication skills in English and Swedish both oral and written are mandatory.

What’s in it for you?

You will be part of a team of ten skilled Talent Acquisitions Specialists. In our team, we have a warm and inclusive atmosphere where we help each other, find the best solution for our common problems, and laugh a lot together.

You will be working close together with Emma, who is already working with financial positions. Emma and you will build a proper pipeline and leverage the candidates that are applying to Scania. Our biggest aim is to shorten lead time and provide the best quality in matching candidates to open positions. Emma describes her work like this:

“I enjoy my work because I feel like I am making a difference for the business. To match talents with their dream jobs and see a person flouring where they belong is what makes me love what I do, and in this position, I truly get to follow up on my work. To reach the business needs throughout the challenges we stand before, I believe that a proactive and collaborative way of working is the key to success, which is why I really am looking forward to getting you as my colleague.”

At Scania, we support workplace flexibility and mobility and encourage employees to take the opportunity to maximize our personal productivity and work-life balance while aligning with the teams we are engaged in to make sure collaboration runs smoothly.
