Arbetsbeskrivning
Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Scania stands at a crossroads where we are taking a new turn towards new business models in our company. My team provides support to Scania IT, Sales & Marketing and the People & Culture departments, where you will be working mostly with Scania IT. Scania IT and Sales and Marketing collaborate to create completely new products and services based on data. Additionally, electrification of our product portfolio completely disrupts the transport industry and Sales and Marketing stands for a challenge to not only understand a completely new business area, but also to convince our customers of the importance of going electric. To support and advise our managers through this journey, the People and Culture team is undergoing a massive transformation as well, so the time to join my team is now!
Being part of the Talent Acquisition department at Scania means that you will be the first contact with our future workforce. We strive the be the global leader in sustainable transport, which is only possible with the right people. This is why we hold a business crucial role and are one of the most exciting areas to work in right now!.
With you joining our team we will consist of eight Talent Acquisition Specialists. Some of us have been working for Scania for some time and some have joined more recently. We are however not new to recruitment, and whether you are still early on in your career, or have already earned your stripes, I guarantee you will develop in my team!
Your qualifications as a Talent Acquisition Specialist
In order to succeed in the role you have strong communication skills and can adapt to the needs of our stakeholders. Advising and coaching will be part of your day-to-day activities, and it is therefore important that you are comfortable working with managers at different levels in the organization. You understand that feedback is important in collaborations and you feel comfortable in giving and requesting it. You are able to maintain a good overview of your recruitment portfolio and you are excellent at showcasing the progress to your stakeholders. You foster a growth mindset, which in my perception means that you respect how things are today, but can challenge and suggest improvements so the day after can look different. We experiment and perhaps next week will look even more different, but you embrace these changes like a Swede embraces fika. Last but not least, you give it your all to deliver a top notch candidate experience.
In terms of hard criteria, you hold a university degree, preferably within behavioral sciences or similar. Good communication skills in English both oral and written, while Swedish is meriting. You have extensive working experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist.
My vision is that the Talent Acquisition Specialist is a true partner to the business. For me that does not mean that you only execute recruitment requests, although this will be your main delivery. By being close to the business and truly understanding their needs, you will be able to proactively identify their recruitment needs. When it comes to me as a leader, I aim to have an inclusive, coaching leadership style where trust, well-being, development and having fun are my main priorities.
Apply or contact me if you think this role is interesting and would like to hear more. Last day to apply is Monday the 4th of October and applications will be handled ongoing throughout the application period.
