WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
You have extensive market leading, multidisciplinary People & Culture experience, specifically in the Talent Management area, where you can evidence a global mindset in developing strategies, initiatives and people. You have a proven record of running strategic and development initiatives that have made a real difference to business performance, specifically in areas like development, talent sourcing and succession. You are highly business minded and analytical, using your financial acumen in translating strategic, tactical and operational activities into bottom line results. Your experience in leading large-scale transformation programmes is essential and your vision, entrepreneurial spirit, curiosity and passion for action will be critical characteristics for this role. You will represent IKEA internally and externally on the talent topic and therefore will be an accomplished spokesperson. You will lead your team and the global talent agenda with our Culture & Values at heart.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will be responsible for developing and leading the global Talent Management team. You will introduce new ways of working and establish and support the development of the strategic people agenda using internal and external competence and stakeholders.
Your impact on business performance will be significant as we drive the talent agenda to secure current and future business needs – strategically connecting market leading trends with our long-term ambitions. You will be responsible both for articulating our strategic vision around Talent Management whilst at the same time translating these into tangible activities and results, securing the implementation of the people strategy across the biggest Talent Management areas, such as leadership, talent development and sourcing. You will be a strategic business partner on market trends and key internal and external expert in the field of Talent Management, supporting us as an organisation to learn and adapt to future facing talent needs.
You will report into the Ingka Group People & Culture Manager and will be part of the global People & Culture leadership team, as well as our transformation agenda to realise the creation of a new IKEA.
