Our Talent Outreach Communicator is going on parental leave for a year and we are looking for someone who can take over while she’s on leave. A Talent Outreach Communicator at Volvo Group Connected Solutions is a communicator and content creator with deep interest in recruitment.
The role is reporting to VP of Communications, you will be part of the communications team and work in close cooperation with both recruiting managers as well as the Human Resource department in order to develop, deliver and evaluate modern efficient marketing communication tactics to find and to attract new employees.
You will implement new strategies to highlight the company and the benefits of working here. You understand the channels and methods that deliver the best candidates, creates and defines the employer brand, and generally helping the company stand out as an employer of choice.


The role
Create and drive the communication supporting the talent attraction strategy, including develop content to inspire and engage targeted talents
Plan, execute and participate in brand employer events and sponsorships
Build a great talent pipeline on Social Media and keep in touch with these candidates efficiently
Be in the forefront of developments in the communication field to improve communication plans and execution
Creating visuals (images, videos, live sessions) content as required to support our employer brand, making it unique
Build on an existing Brand Ambassadors network of skilled colleagues

Your profile
A Bachelor or master’s degree in Communication, HR, Digital Media or similar
Experience in Social Media Strategy and Content Creation for Talent attraction ideally in a global, international company
Knowledge of the developer community an advantage
Knowledge of LinkedIn, Recruiter functions and how to run campaigns on the platform (both pipeline builder and normal branding campaigns)
Proficiency in digital communication and digital channel development
Hands-on approach, capable of quickly switching between strategic thinking and operational work
Excellent people and teamwork skills. Strong capacity to build networks in a multicultural, global environment and to influence others to make things happen
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Experience with desktop publishing, graphics, and basic video/photo editing software is considered a plus
