We are now looking for experienced business people who will participate and lead business development and sourcing projects within Range & Category Plastics (Raw Materials).

Assignment
The Task Leader Business (TLB) works tightly together with selected Categories and Home Furnishing Business Areas offering them a very high level of business competence and service for the whole plastic raw material range and contributes in securing that we provide the right products and materials (IKEA requirement fulfilled), in the right time to the right price. All with the purpose of maximizing the total IKEA benefit. As a TLB you will both lead and contribute in business development projects ensuring implementation of IKEA material strategy and category direction. Projects can be both IKEA internal and external sourcing or range development projects.

Main activities:
? Responsible for business development within area of responsibility with focus on price, service level, quality, standardisation, range development to secure ?better product at lower cost?.
? Identify business opportunities and establish goals for the area of responsibility in co-operation with related stakeholders.
? Create actions in line with decided strategies in co-operation with related team members/managers and execute them.
? Actively monitoring market, competition and supplier trends in order to develop and strengthen IKEA market intelligence.

Is this the right challenge for you?

To be able to succeed in this position you have very good knowledge and experience from business development, sourcing and understanding of value chains and cost drivers on international markets and with a proven track record. We also believe that you have a background in the plastic raw material industry. Within Range & Category Plastics recycled plastics and plastics from renewable sources are of strategic importance for IKEA so if you have experience from these materials specifically we welcome your application.

If you as well have knowledge and experience of e g; product development, engineering, technical development or production you are probably an even stronger candidate.

You have a strong business drive and a clear goal focus. You are decisive and have an ability to communicate in a clear and structured way to build strong internal and external relations. We also believe that you have leadership capabilities and an ability to make commercial analyses.
